Hi, I’m Lauren and I live in Diss, Norfolk. I’m a kind, caring and reliable support worker with experience supporting children and adults with additional needs, including autism, learning disabilities and cerebral palsy. I have an enhanced children and adults DBS on the update system, and I’m experienced with medication support, personal care and manual handling. Currently, i work during the week in Suffolk for a day provision for adults with disabilities and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday i take part in an after school club for young people with disabilities. My availability is weekends and evenings on Monday and Tuesday. During school holidays i can be more flexible in the afternoons. I understand how important it is for parents to find someone they can trust, and I always aim to provide support that is safe, patient and tailored to each person’s individual needs. I’m calm, friendly and easy to get along with, and I enjoy building positive relationships with the people I support and their families. Outside of work I love reading, going for walks, gardening, swimming and learning new things, and I’m always happy to get involved in activities that someone enjoys and help make their days fun, comfortable and meaningful.
